Lydia’s Creations began in 2024 with a single sourdough starter passed down through family stories and a dream to bring honest, flavorful bread back to everyday tables. What started as weekend bakes for neighbors quickly grew into a beloved local bakery as word spread about our tangy, open-crumb loaves and commitment to quality. Today, we bake fresh daily, filling the air with the aroma of fermentation and warm crust, while staying true to the small-batch philosophy that started it all.
Over the years, we’ve built strong relationships with local farmers, millers, and families who share our values. Every morning, our bakers arrive before dawn to tend the starter, mix dough by hand, and shape loaves with care—creating not just bread, but moments of connection for our community. We source the finest organic and locally grown ingredients we can find—stone-ground flours from regional mills, pure filtered water, sea salt, and wild yeast cultivated in our own starter. Everything by Hand

Nothing at Lydia’s Creations is mass-produced. Every loaf is mixed, kneaded, shaped, scored, and loaded into the oven by hand. We ferment slowly, bake in small batches, and let the dough speak for itself. This hands-on approach ensures each bread is unique—full of character, soul, and the unmistakable taste of true artisan craft.
